We have own and shown Rottweilers for eighteen years and breeding for almost twelve years.
I met my first Rottweiler
way back in 1988 when I was working for a manufacturing company at
Liverpool. Anne the Office Manager owned a five year old female Tara. Or
did Tara own Anne, hmm.
Anne’s son, Scott would catch the train from Ingleburn to Liverpool with
Tara and then they walked together to the office. Animals were allowed on
trains in those days.
On
this particular day, Tara just sauntered into the office and straight up to
me, for a cuddle. It was love at first sight as far as I was concerned.
Although we waited until August 1993 for Ozzrott Mojo Rising our very first
female, to come into our lives I knew immediately that there would
never another breed that could capture your heart like our Rottweiler.
Mojo
was only on loan to us, she was sent from above to make a lasting impression
on every member of our family.
Unfortunately we only had her for nineteen months when she tragically lost
her fight for life on Good Friday 1995. She will never be forgotten and she
is very reason we are now proud to say we are Rottweiler Breeders.
We
have been completely owned by Rottweilers ever since. In November, 2002 we
felt that we had done sufficient research to bred our first litter.
Although we are not Big Time Breeders we are extremely pleased with what we
have produced. Our aim is to breed a healthy litter with the correct
temperament of the Rottweiler. We are committed to the protection and
welfare of these magnificent creatures and are always striving to improve
what we are doing.
In
June, 1999 we moved from suburbia to Douglas Park on a few acres in order to
give our dogs the lifestyle they love and deserve.
