Staratraxn Our Porscha
"Porscha"
07 November 2002 - 10 May 2012
Porscha was from out very first litter by
Ch Nowstarin Spartacus out of Treverhund Lil Ms T Bear.
She was one of a litter of eight, an even
split four males and four females, all big healthy puppies.
I though this breeding stuff was a walk in the park. From the very first day they were a delight to everyone who saw them. When they were only two weeks old we started inviting potential buyers to come and visit.
Denis & Catherine French were anxious to own a Rottweiler after Denis had grow up with pure breed dogs and now they both had fallen in love with this breed. From the very first time Catherine saw the girl with the green ribbon she was in love with her. Green was Catherine’s favorite colour and she knew this was the only puppy for her.
We were fortunate to have a highly respected All Breeds Judge come to deliver our Breeders Puppy Packs and asked if she could have a look at the litter. She actually graded the pups and said that the Girl with the Green Ribbon was her pick. She would get no argument from the French’s.
Initially Catherine wanted to show Porscha but soon realized she would much prefer to do Obedience and instantly they became team. Like lots of young pups Porscha soon got a bit bored with this obedience thing and one of the Instructors suggested she try Agility. This was not a good idea as it turned out and Porscha injured her front leg and needed surgery. Lesson learned and they went back to obedience.
Sadly three weeks ago Catherine noticed that Porscha was not herself and after many visits to the Vet with lots of x-rays and tests she was diagnosed with Cushing’s Syndrome, but it also highlighted a tumor on her lungs which claimed her very quickly.

Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free. I'm following the path God has laid you see.
I took his hand when I heard his call. I turned back and left it all.
I could not stay another day, to bark, to love, to work or play.
Tasks left undone must stay that way I found the peace at the close of day.
If my parting has left a void, then fill it with remembered joys---
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss Oh yes, these things I too will miss.
Be not burdened with times of sorrow. I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.
My life's been full I savored much, good friends, good times, a loved one's touch.
Perhaps my time seemed all too brief.
Don't lengthen it now with undue grief.
Lift up your hearts and peace to thee--- God wanted me now, he set me free.
Run free at the Bridge beautiful girl until me meet again.
